Why I'm in this field?
I'm interested in how humans are affected by 'social factors' - language, culture, environment etc to make their life decisions. I think this concept strongly relates to UI/UX and Product design in general where how I can as a designer lead user's successful path with use of my own design.
What makes me a unique designer?
-
Driven by understanding life influences: education, work, culture, and interests
-
Empathy fuels problem-solving innovation for users
-
Belief in collaborative growth for superior designs
-
Passionate about mentoring for mutual learning
-
Background in UI/UX and sociology offers unique insights into decision impacts, enriching UX design
My Logo
This was made by me on Procreate. The main theme colours of this portfolio were blue and white. The letter in black can been seen as hope in Chinese character which I combined with the letter of my partial name "Yu" in Japanese. Hope is called "Ki" in Japanese and this is another partial part of my name. Hence, this can be displayed as my name in one word which is Yuki.
Design Process
This syllable is Yu in Hiragana which is one of three different types of Japanese letters.
This image had an impact on how I wanted to develop my logo.
As you can see ゆ is displayed the bottom part of this letter.
My goal for this project was to deliver simplicity but uniqueness of myself. The blue part describes waves as I like oceans and white part can be seen as flowers as well as splash of water.
